Dr. Castro works at CINVESTAV-IPN Unidad Merida, Yucatán, México since 1986 where he is researcher. He is Civil Engineer and M. Eng. from the Yucatán Autonomous University, he has a PhD in Engineering from the National Autonomous University of México and a posdoctorate in the Torroja Institute of Construction Sciences from Madrid, Spain.
