Civil Engineer graduated from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) in 1966. Professor Emeritus of the Faculty of Engineering of the UBA of Buenos Aires. Professor and Course Director in the Master of Corrosion and Structural Design of the UBA. Former Full Professor of the Subjects Concrete and Inspection and execution of Concrete Structures. Academic Excellence Award granted by the UBA. Director of the Department of Construction and Structures of the Faculty of Engineering of the UBA (2007/2013). Fellow member of the ACI and President of the Argentine Chapter (2002 to 2006). Emeritus Member of the Association of Structural Engineers AJE and President in the period 1998/1999. Member of the Commission of Constructions and Structures of the National Academy of Engineering and founding member of the Latin American Association of Quality Control, Pathology and Recovery of construction. He has participated in the drafting of technical articles, book chapters and technical regulations and has developed numerous courses, conferences and presentations at national and international congresses in Argentina, Spain, Brazil, Portugal, Paraguay, Chile, Cuba, Mexico, Uruguay and Peru. Consultant in Structural Engineering, he has extensive participation in his environment and abroad in design, construction, project optimization, diagnosis, repair, supervision and control of civil and industrial works, bridges and other infrastructure works. Founding Associate Editor of Revista Alconpat.
