  • Research interests: Design, processing and characterization of conventional and alternative cementitious materials; development of new cements of lower environmental impact based on limestone, volcanic materials, waste glass, slags, fly ash and other industrial by products.  Studies on the mechanisms of reaction, mechanical properties, hydraulic character, durability and structure of reaction products of cements. Revalorization of inorganic wastes into ceramic-cement materials; sustainable technologies for energy storage and generation.
